Clinitas Range is now available in Vision Express Stores Nationwide
Cambridge, April 2011
Altacor is pleased to announce the launch of the Clinitas Range in Vision Express. After extensive product trials, the rationale for having a full range of dry eye products covering conditions whether they are mild, moderate, severe or acute or chronic was clear. With the comprehensive Clinitas Range the various presentations of dry eye can be addressed. The Clinitas Range comprises three products Clinitas Hydrate, Clinitas Soothe and Clinitas Ultra 3 which collectively increase, stabilise and restore the three layers of the tear film. The products are easy to apply and good value for money. Clinitas Hydrate is a high performance liquid gel drop that rapidly spreads across the whole eye surface to reduce friction, providing lubrication and comfort particularly overnight or on wakening. The carbomer component boosts the aqueous layer of the tear film and can stay on the eye for up to 8 hours.
Clinitas Soothe is a natural, preservative-free eye drop with the UK’s highest concentration of a natural lubricant, sodium hyaluronate. Each pack contains 20 individual units each of which can now be used throughout a 12 hour period. Each unit can be opened and re-sealed with confidence thanks to new data confirming that the solution does not support the growth of micro-organisms that can cause eye infection. Each unit contains between 8 and 10 drops, sufficient for one days use. After removing the lid, it can be inverted and replaced to form a good seal which will not leak. This makes Clinitas Soothe highly economic to use. Clinitas Ultra 3 is for sore or watery eyes due to low blink rates (such as when watching TV or using computers) or environmental factors (wind, heat, air conditioning etc). Clinitas Ultra 3 has components of all three layers of the tear film, restoring natural functionality and promoting comfort. This eye drop is longer lasting, by adding water and sealing in moisture it protects, boosts and stabilises in one application. Irritable eyes are at best annoying, at worst debilitating and can play havoc with personal, social and working life. Symptoms can include pain, gritty or burning sensations, blurred, watery eyes, contact lens intolerance plus persistent discomfort and foggy appearance. These problems can be caused by anything that affects the normal production of tears and aggravated by lifestyle, age, gender and health factors.
